Day 1 – Basel – Gruyères – Montreux Departure from Basel with a private driver to Gruyères for an introduction to Swiss cheese traditions, including a visit to a local cheesemaking site, village walk and castle visit, and lunch with regional Swiss specialities. Continuation to Maison Cailler, Switzerland’s first chocolate brand, for a chocolate experience, followed by onward travel to the Swiss Riviera. Overnight in Montreux. Day 2 – Montreux – Spiez – Interlaken – Basel The following day features the GoldenPass panoramic train journey from Montreux toward Spiez, offering views of changing alpine and lakeside scenery. A private cruise on Lake Thun from Spiez to Interlaken and leisure time in Interlaken complete the lakeside component, before returning to Basel by private transfer. |
