Itinerary Details	Day 1 – Basel – Gruyères – Bern Departure from Basel with a private driver toward Gruyères, traveling through rural landscapes to the medieval hilltop village. Introduction to cheesemaking, a tasting of local specialities, a walk through the village and a visit to Gruyères Castle are followed by a tour and chocolate experience at Maison Cailler, Switzerland’s first chocolate brand. Then onward travel to Bern. Overnight in Bern. Day 2 – Bern – Emmental – Basel The second day features a guided walking tour of Bern’s UNESCO-listed Old Town. Then onward travel to the Emmental countryside for an AOP cheese farm experience with tasting and insight into traditional production. Return to Basel by private transfer.
